Our practical and theory based workshops are designed to be action packed, educational & most of all effective to get your body feeling the WalkActive benefits. Our aim is to teach you The WalkActive Foundation Programme, using specific skill layering methods, customised drills & giving you feedback on your efforts, so you feel confident to implement WalkActive. Whether you are looking for WalkActive to be part of your walk to work, daily life or for structured fitness sessions, The WalkActive Foundation Workshops are for anyone & everyone and are an excellent starting point in your WalkActive journey. All our workshops combine theory with practical and are designed so you learn while you are with us and can apply once back at home.

The WalkActive Foundation System is made up of 3 levels, which we cover in 3 1/2 day workshops :

Level 1 : WalkActive Technique & Posture Your essential first step – see and feel the benefit in just one session!

  • Learn the scientifically proven Basic WalkActive Technique.
  • Simple easy to follow drills & practice walk session
  • Improve your posture and walking in just 1 session.
  • Get momentum with 7 Day WalkActive Start Up Challenge

Level 2: WalkActive Core & Tone – Whittle waistlines, tone your whole body and tackle slopes with confidence.

  • WalkActive Technique Review
  • Learn The Abdominal J & WalkActive Ab Walking for flat, trim waistline.
  • Learn how to tackle slopes with confidence & streamline your body.
  • Transform your body with toning & body streamlining drills to add to your WalkActive walks.

Level 3: WalkActive Pace & Fitness Optimise cardiovascular benefits for fitness and health.

  • Learn how to walk up to 24% faster, smoothly fluidly effectively.
  • Understand WalkActive Accelerators
  • Identify right pace for fitness & health benefits
  • Find your optimum calorie burning pace.

Who for:

The first step for any one starting on their WalkActive journey. They are the perfect accompaniment for those individuals who have the WalkActive App and WalkActive book and want some personal feedback on progress and how to start.

Please note with respect to our workshops we strongly encourage everyone to start with either Level 1 Technique and Posture or our brand new Get Started with WalkActive. 

  • It’s a great starting point
  • We’ll teach you fundamental WalkActive drills
  • Learn key terminology, which we use as we progress you on your WalkActive journey +
  • will set you off on the right track right from the beginning.

On completing your Level 1 TECHNIQUE & POSTURE or GET STARTED WITH WALKACTIVE Workshop you can progress on to either Level 2 CORE & TONE  or Level 3 PACE & FITNESS. You DO NOT need to do Level 2 before progressing onto Level 3. Just pick the dates that work for you and we’ll help you complete the WalkActive Foundation Programme.

Progress your WalkActive with WalkActive Top Up Clinic & Workout:

90 minute focussed sessions. Progress, get feedback, enjoy more results.

Each 90 minute session WalkActive Top Up Clinic & Workout will focus on a particular part of your walking to help you get even more results plus put it into practice with a 45 minute WalkActive Workout to help you tone, shape and get fit. Designed as small group focussed sessions that follow on and compliment the three levels of the WalkActive Foundation Programme.

Each 90 minute session will focus on a particular part of your walking to help you get even more results. Designed as small group focussed sessions that follow on and compliment the three levels of the WalkActive Foundation Programme.

You’ll improve your technique, receive feedback on your efforts and help to progress your WalkActive.

Each WalkActive Top Up Clinic & Workout includes:

• Personal technique and feedback review

• Progressive drills to improve your results

• Troubleshooting and motivation talk to keep you on track.

• 45 minute WalkActive Workout Practical

• Take Home Pointers.

Who for:

Our Top Up Clinics are perfect for these individuals who have some knowledge of the WalkActive, whether it’s Level 1 Technique & Posture, Level 2 Core & Tone or Level 3 Pace & Fitness and want to get feedback on their progress. Attendance at each respective Top Up Clinic is designed to be progressive and help you enjoy more results. Consequently you need to be familiar with the basics of each level. If you are completely new to any of the 3 levels of the WalkActive Foundation Programme, we strongly encourage you to complete the workshops first and work through the WalkActive App.
