Joanna Hall is one of the UK’s leading Diet & Movement Specialists, a regular on TV & radio, former resident fitness expert on ITV’s This Morning, published author, presenter, trainer, motivator & creator and founder of WalkActive.

With a First degree & Masters degree in Sports Science from Loughborough University, a Sports Medicine Intern from Virginia Mason Sports Medicine Clinic, Seattle and more than 20 year experience in the industry, Joanna has developed her “Intelligent Exercise” System, centred on delivering programmes that are results driven, scientifically proven and highly effective to help the individual enjoy real health, fitness, weight management & body shape change.

Joanna created WalkActive to help individuals get real results from walking. Her WalkActive technique involves the body walking with correct postural alignment, so the right muscles are used, in the right way, at the right time & in the right sequence. The results are dramatic, sustainable & lasting: improving posture, reducing joint impact, increasing fitness & impressively streamlining the body. Joanna’s WalkActive techniques and methods are taught nationwide through her Courses, Residential Spa Break Programmes,Time Trials, Workshops & International Training Camps at 5 * resorts in La Manga, Spain and Tenerife.

The author of 12 books translated into 7 languages as well as presenter of her own DVD’s. Joanna is a natural passionate communicator and has had columns for The Guardian, Top Sante and Marie Claire. May 2013 sees the launch of Joanna’s latest book: WalkActive – Transform your Body for Life published by Little Brown/Piatkus.
